if you have read my words and followed me for a wee while.
you will know. i wear my heart on my sleeve.
especially when it comes to my wee girl.
today is her last day at kindy.
on monday she is five.
five.
a year ago almost exactly. i shot this sequence of photos.
and two days ago. i shot them again.
because it was 10minutes before we were due to leave for kindy.
her hair was wild. pretty much a given on any day.
her clothes were covered in paint stains.
her feet were bare.
and i remember thinking.
i want to remember this. just this. exactly how she is. right now.
i wanted to capture the essence of it.
as i always do.
